i know i pay for a good download upload rate, but ever since i started with this isp my upload has been trash. is there anyway to tweak it?
possibly change ports orrrr???

What ISP? Your upload might have been capped if you used too much bandwidth. Cable modem companies are notorious for doing this.

I concur with psi on this. Comcast is a cable company and well, they like to tweek settings when abused.

yea, I have comcast cable as well... they are assholes...  even tho I have wireless, its still a noticable differance from DSL.

fix = switch to dsl...

WTF do you mean by the bolded comments above ?  What does wifi have to do with the difference between a cable connection and a dsl connection.

BTW, better off waiting for FIOS (Verizon's fiber optic) or something related to come to your area.

Check your wireless then. The biggest bottleneck in your connection should be from your demarc to the ISP itself NOT in your wifi. Even Wireless-B's bandwidth far out paces the best home broadband.
