New network code that allows fighting games to be played pretty much lag free online.  This is rather important with arcades being dead and all.  Hope to see some people try it out, hit me up over IM or this post if you need help getting it working, though it's pretty well documented.

Cool, good to hear dude.  Lately it's been acting up on my machine, as deto can tell you.  When I get some time later this week though I'll try to fix it and probably see you on.


Oh yeah, at the moment Alpha 2 is the only game with online support I think   I heard there working on more though.

yea, the server itself was crashing a lot due to toooo many people using it at one time (which realy isn't a bad thing)

yesterday they switched to a new (more reliable) server.

if you get tired of SFA2, there's a cool online 3-D fighter called Kwonho.  Its highly customizable and its free (tho you can pay for game-money...but don't do that).  Its got rpg-like properties as you start off at lvl 1 with limited moves and looks, but as you keep fighting you earn money and skills.

So yeah, way for me to make a post and then never get online for this.  Reason is those I need to forward some ports on my router.  Only problem is I have no idea what the password for the router is lol.  So I either have to buy a new one, or do some crazy ass rewiring to be able to connect P2P with peeps

Is it your router? What brand/model is it? Usually you can reset them to factory settings (albiet loosing all your settings) and then use the factory password to access them.

Rly? I didn't know that.  It's a D-Link DI-604 though, I should probably google that shit.  Hella lazy when it comes to anything comp related these days though.
